WHO WE ARE

Mission Project – Personal Care Assistants, LLC (MPPCA) is a non-profit service agency offering caregiving assistance to adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), such as Down syndrome or autism, or related physical disabilities to help support them while they live independently.  We do not offer elder care services unrelated to IDD at this time.

The organization was founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of The Mission Project, Inc., originally to provide assistive services for its adult program participants with IDD who require supportive systems to successfully live in their own homes.  Our agency is based in Mission, KS and now offers services to clients throughout the wider Kansas City Metro area.

One major difference from other local agencies is that we are able to bill through the Kansas Working Healthy benefits program.

IADLs are direct living care.  Examples are: assistance with shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, money management and budgeting, arrangement of household services and repairs, and more.
